Quality Control Specialist (Part Time)

Is looking for a Quality Control Specialist (Part time)
 
This is a part-time position with no benefits.   The hourly rate is $20.00.   This part-time position is twenty-eight (28) hours per week.
Some Duties Include:
�‚� Quality control review and approval of certification files.
�‚� Completes a minimum of four (4) tenant file reviews per day and records findings and results in the SharePoint QC tool.
�‚� Conducts quarterly and annual Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) review of files.
�‚� Uses the QC knowledge bank available and other resources to ensure maximum accuracy for citing errors and comments.
�‚� Reviews and assists PIC corrections for resubmission to IMS.
�‚� Responds in writing to disputes for errors cited within 24 hours.
�‚� Researches and assists to resolve High Profile cases and customer service inquiries.
�‚� Drafts correspondence in response to inquiries from various stakeholders as needed.
�‚� Works in conjunction with employee development training team as a mentor to new and ongoing staff member.  Provide example documents, errors and issues to use in training sessions, and brings questions and concerns to the forefront that need clarification or training to help ensure QC, Operations and Admissions staff have the tools and information needed to do accurate file reviews.
�‚� Other file audits as needed.
�‚� Plans and conducts in-depth reviews of resident files and procedures to ensure compliance with HUD Regulations, PHA procedures, and all other laws and requirements.
�‚� Performs audits including calculation of rent, income, allowances, assets, vouchers, leases, verifications, documentations, applications and all required paperwork for certification and recertification files.
Some Qualifications Include:
�‚� Associates Degree in Business, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or some closely related field preferred.
�‚� Minimum of four (4) years’ work experience is required.
�‚� At least four (4) years’ experience with exposure to federally funded housing programs preferred.
�‚� Knowledge of SEMAP requirements.
�‚� Good attention to detail, with an ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
�‚� Good decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
�‚� Self-motivated, with a dedication to keeping up to date technically, and applying new knowledge to your job.
�‚� Knowledge of HUD regulations/ACOP/Admin Plan and EIV/PIC submissions
�‚� knowledge of the function and organization of a Housing Authority and its various departments.
�‚� Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws so that policies and actions are administered in compliance with Federal, State and local laws.
